Camano Center Trips
The Camano Center coordinates dozens of day trips every year. Join us as we shop, dine, enjoy great local events and activities, and make some wonderful memories. Get out and have some fun, and leave the driving and parking to us!
Trips are priced very reasonably, and member discounts apply. See below for our list of scheduled trips.
Ballard Area, Tuesday, May 14th. Ballard is one of Seattle's oldest neighborhoods and was settled by Danish and Finish immigrants in the mid 1800s. Today, its Scandinavian roots are reflected in its historic landmarks and attractive winding streets. Do a little exploring and have lunch in one of the trendy cafes. Transportation only is $16 for Center members and $21 for non-members. Please pay at time of registration.
Flower World, Iris Ranch, and the Maltby Cafe, Thursday, May 22nd. Shop the amazing selection of plants at Flower World and the Iris Ranch, and then enjoy a fabulous meal at the popular Maltby Cafe. $15 for members and $20 for non-members covers transportation; bring your wallet for shopping and food! Please pay at time of registration.
Sorticulture, Friday, June 7th. This annual festival in Everett unites art and the garden in a celebration of outdoor living. Display gardens, food, wine, and live music bring together a day filled with “everything garden”. Transportation only is $16 for Center members and $21 for non-members. Admission to Sorticulture is free. Please payat time of registration.
Seattle Underground Tour, Wednesday, June 12th. This will be a leisurely, guided walking tour beneath Seattle’s sidewalks and streets. As you roam the subterranean passages that once were the main roadways and first-floor storefronts of old downtown Seattle, our guides regale you with the stories our pioneers didn’t want you to hear. It’s history with a twist! $37 for Center members and $42 for non-members includes transportation and the private tour. Please pay at time of registration.
Pike Place Market, Thursday, June 20th. Have some fun, do some shopping, and don't forget to see the flying fish! Transportation only is $17 for Center members and $23 for non-members. Please pay by June 10th.
Ride the Ducks and go to the Lockspot Restaurant, Tuesday, June 25th. A fun and interesting way to see the City, coupled with a great dining experience. $48 for Center members, $53 for non-members includes transportation and the Ride the Ducks tour; lunch is on your own. Please pay by June 10th.
Ride the Ducks and go to the Lockspot Restaurant, Wednesday, August 7th. A second trip because the first one always fills! Make your reservation early! $48 for Center members, $53 for non-members includes transportation and the Ride the Ducks tour; lunch is on your own. Please pay by July 23rd.
Evergreen State Fair in Monroe, Senior Day, Monday, August 26th. Stroll through the fair and enjoy all the good eats and exhibits. Transportation only is $15 for
Center members, $20 for non-members. Please pay by August 12th.
Note:
Most trips require a minimum of ten participants in order to cover our costs. If fewer that ten people pay for their seats, the trip may be cancelled at our discretion. Trip payment can be made in person or over the phone with your VISA or MasterCard.
CSSA Trip Policy
DAY TRIPS: You may make a reservation by phone, mail, or in person. We accept cash, checks, and VISA and MasterCard.
UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED your reservation must be paid 14 DAYS prior to date of trip. Reservations made less than two weeks prior to the trip must be paid in full at the time of the reservation.
TICKETED EVENTS: UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED, trips requiring the Center to purchase a ticket as part of the trip package must be paid in full BEFORE TICKETS ARE ORDERED.
TIPPING: A tip may be collected for the driver. You are responsible for tipping at restaurants when eating on your own.
REFUNDS: If you cancel after you have paid for the trip it is non-refundable. If there is a wait list for the trip and we are able to book your cancelled seat we will refund you.
If the Camano Center cancels a trip you will receive a full refund.

Bus Charters
Do you have a group for whom you want to organize a day trip? Do you want to enjoy yourself without the fuss of driving or parking? Why not charter the Camano Center's bus, and leave the driving to us! The bus has a 14 person capacity. Charters include the services of one of our friendly, safe, and courteous drivers.
