Camano Center Trips

Bellevue Botanical Garden, Tuesday, May 1st. Come with us and enjoy a stroll while taking in the flowers of spring, then lunch at the Big Fish. We will stop at Well's Medina Nursery on the return trip. Admission to the Gardens if free. Transportation only is $17 for members, $23 for non-members. Please pay by April 20th.

Stanwood Community & Senior Center Trip; Mother’s Day Special  * Pacific Coastal Cruise* Friday, May 11, – One day Cruise only. Vancouver, BC to Seattle WA. Take your mom on a special one day cruise for Mother’s Day! Inside Cabin $148.46 per person, Outside Cabin with window $193.46 per person, Balcony $228.46 per person. These rates are based on double occupancy! (Rates are subject to change). Please make your reservations as soon as possible. $100.00 deposit required at time of making reservations. Price does not include transportation to Vancouver or from Seattle back to Stanwood. Amtrak Coach price to Vancouver 1 way is $21.00 per person. University Village, Monday, May 14th. A favorite place to walk around and enjoy the new fashion and lunch! $16 for members and $21 for non-members for transportation only. Pay by May 2nd.

Stanwood Community & Senior Center Trip; Alaska Cruise – May 19 through May 26.  Inside cabins start at $1008.11 per person, Outside cabin with a window start at $1328.11, Balcony cabin starts at $1628.11. These prices are based on double occupancy. This price includes all port and government taxes! Deposit is 20% of the total cost of your cabin which is due at the time of booking. Million Dollar Quartet, Sunday, May 20th. This is the new smash-hit musical inspired by the famed recording session that brought together rock 'n' roll icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins for the first and only time. The bus will leave the Center at 11am for the 1pm show. $90 for members and $100 for non-members includes your ticket. This trip is full; wait list only.

Fairhaven in Bellingham, Tuesday, May 22nd. Now that the weather has warmed let’s go back to Fairhaven and walk about. Stop at Trader Joes on your way back. Let Rick know where you would like to eat lunch. Transportation only. $15 members, $20 non-member. Please pay by May 8th.

Sorticulture, Friday, June 8th. Everett's Garden Arts Festival, Sorticulture unites art and the garden in a celebration of creative outdoor living. $14 for members, $19 for non-members for transportation only. Please pay by May 25th.

Molbaks & Antique Rose Farm, Wednesday, June 13th. Spring has sprung and summer is ahead - let’s go see what interesting plants we can find! You will lunch in Woodinville (try Molbaks Café) and stop at the Antique Rose Farm off Rt. 9 on our way back. $15 for members, $20 non-members includes transportation only. Pay by May 31st.

Pike Place Market, Tuesday, June 19th. Enjoy early summer flowers and produce, and so much more! $15 for Center members, $20 for non-members. Pay by June 4th.

Safeco Field, Monday, June 25th. Take a behind the scene look at the Mariners playground. Tour is approximately 60 minutes and covers about 1 mile in walking. After you have time to check out the Mariners store you are off to the Pyramid Ale House for lunch. Bring a friend! Price includes stadium tour and transportation. $24 member, $29 non-member. Pay by June 13th.

Seattle Aquarium and Ivar's, Monday, July 9th. Let’s go down to the sea .The aquarium is a non-profit operating through Seattle’s City Parks Department. Ongoing research of the Puget Sound marine life is conducted by the Seattle Aquarium. Tickets available @ the aquarium $19.95 13 & up and $13.95 for 12 and under. Lunch after at Ivars or another local restaurant of your choice. Bring your friend or grandchild. Cost includes transportation only. $16 Member, $20 Non-Member. Please pay by June 28th.

Woodland Park Zoo, Thursday, July 12th. Bring your kids, grandkids or a friend. Let’s go talk to the animals. Lunch on your own. Price is transportation only; pay at the zoo for entry into the zoo. $15 member, $20 non-members. Please pay by July 2nd.

Ride the Ducks, Tuesday, July 17th. This will be our only trip in 2012 for Ride the Ducks, so don’t miss it. After your 90 minutes tour covering land and sea we will travel to Lockspot Restaurant for a bite to eat. Cost includes the tour and transportation. $45 member, $50 non-member. Please pay by June 29th.

Lynden Downtown, Friday, July 20th. Visit the varied shops of the Fairway Center or dine in one of a variety of restaurants. $17 for members, $23 non-members is for transportation only. Please pay by July 6th.

Bellevue Square, Tuesday, July 24th. Spend a few hours in a climate controlled environment and visit the shops. Lunch at Nordstrom maybe, or at one of the many other eateries. Leave the driving to us. $16 for members and $21 for non-members for transportation only. Pay by July 11th.

King Tut Exhibit at the Pacific Science Center, Monday, July 30th. Last stop for the exhibit before leaving the United States! Make your plans today to join us on this trip. Price includes transportation and exhibit ticket. $35 for members, $40 non-members. Pay by June 28th.

Tillicum Village, Wednesday, August 1st. The Argosy cruise to Blake Island is a summer favorite. Native dancing and salmon bake will entertain you and fill you up. Be sure to book early as this is the only Tillicum Village trip from the Camano Center in 2012. Price includes transportation, cruise and lunch. $78 member, $83 non-member. Please pay by July 6th.

Anacortes Arts Festival, Friday, August 3rd. 250 Artisan booths, 30 food vendors, 2 stages of free entertainment- what more could you want? Have a fun day and let us be your chauffer. Price includes transportation only. $13 for members, $18 for non-members. Please pay by July 26th.

Lemay Car Museum, Monday, August 6th. The spectacular new Lemay Car Museum opens in Tacoma June 2012.  The 165,000 square foot building  was built to showcase cars through the years, as well as create a network for automotive enthusiasts. You will have lunch at the museum after your tour. Price includes the tour and transportation. $33 for members, $38 for non-members. Please pay by July 20th.

Whale Watching Cruise and Friday Harbor, Monday, August 20th. An all day event with breathtaking views. Last year the Orcas played near the ship through most of the cruise. Lunch included onboard before arriving at Friday Harbor. Two hours in Friday Harbor and then return by 5:30 pm to the docks. Price includes transportation and cruise with lunch. $107 members, $115 non-members. Please pay by July 19th.

Granville Island, Tuesday, August 28th. B.C. Canada bound! Our annual pilgrimage to the Island to the North. Enjoy the great Market and sea air.  Bring your passport or enhanced drivers license. Members $30/Non-Members $35. Please pay by August 16th.

Japanese Botanical Garden at the University of Washington, Tuesday, September 11th. All gardeners come out and play! First we will make a stop at the City People's Garden Store near the Arboretum, and then on to tour the Japanese Garden at the UW Arboretum. After the 'walk out' we will dine at the HiSpot Restaurant nearby. Price includes tour. $21 members/$26 non-members. Pay by August 31st.

Stanwood Community & Senior Center Trip; Cruise to Los Angeles from Vancouver BC on Sunday, September 22 – Sept. 27th. Inside cabin starts at $457.19 per person, Outside cabin with window starting at $577.19 per person, Balcony starting at $707.19 per person. (Prices are subject to change). These prices are for double occupancy. Deposit of $100.00 per person due at the time of booking. Balance due 60 days before sailing date. Seattle Luau Cruise, Thursday, October 18th. Wear your best Hawaiian shirt, bring your ukelele and enjoy a luau feast! Island music provided by 'Loco Moco'. Bring a friend and you will enjoy this even more! Book early to ensure a seat. $52 for members, $57 for non-members; must be paid by September 25th.

Alderwood Mall, Thursday, October 25th. Enjoy shopping and dining in out of the weather! Shop the large stores, including Nordstrom, or the dozens of specialty shops. Plenty of choices are available for lunch on your own. $15 for members, $20 non-members includes transportation only. Please pay by October 11th.

Dickens Carolers Lunch Cruise, Tuesday, December 11th. Get in the holiday spirit with a holiday feast and carolers. Join in the festivities aboard the Argosy which will be decked out in holiday style! $52 members, $57 non-members. Pay by November 26th.

Note:

Most trips require a minimum of ten participants in order to cover our costs. Trip payment can be made in person or over the phone with a VISA or MasterCard.
 

CSSA Trip Policy

DAY TRIPS: You may make a reservation by phone, mail, or in person.  We accept cash, check, VISA and MasterCard.  UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED your reservation must be paid 14 DAYS prior to departure date. Reservations made less than two weeks prior to the trip must be paid in full at the time of the reservation.

TICKETED EVENTS: UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED, trips requiring the Center to purchase a ticket as part of the trip package have to be paid in full BEFORE TICKETS ARE ORDERED.

TIPPING: A tip may be collected for the driver. You are responsible for tipping at restaurants when eating on your own.

Refunds: If you cancel after you have paid for the trip it is non-refundable. If there is a Wait List for the trip and we are able to book your cancelled seat we will refund you.

                                If the Camano Center cancels a trip you will receive a full refund.

Bus Charters

Do you have a group, or maybe a large family for whom you want to organize a trip? Do you want to enjoy yourself without the fuss of driving or parking? Why not charter the Camano Center's bus, and leave the driving to us! The bus has a 14 person capacity and would come with the driver.
