Glenn is a life-long Washington State resident.  He grew up in the small town of Keyport and attended school in Poulsbo.  For the next 34 years Glenn worked for the Department of Defense in Bremerton.  Twenty-six of those years were spent in the Nuclear Power Program as a Site and Project Supervisor dealing with refueling and overhaul of the Navy's nuclear powered ships.  Five years were dedicated as the USS Enterprise Project Coordinator and three years as the Atlantic Fleet Carrier Financial Program Manager.  Glenn retired in March of 1998.

A family man, Glenn has been married to his best friend, Carol (a retired teacher) for 29 years.  Together they have four children and seven granchildren.  Carol has been coming to Camano Island since 1957 and Glenn since 1980.  Moving here full time in September 1998, Glenn became very active in the Yacht Club.  He served on the board for 5 years and served as Commodore in 2002.  In May of 2008 Glenn and Carol joined the Camano Senior and Community Center.
