Bob Carlson
Bob retired after 26 years of executive leadership with the largest media company in the US, Gannett Corp. Inc. They have major holdings in newspapers including USA Today, television, radio, magazines and dominant on-line positioning. He served a variety of leadership positions such as President and Publisher of a daily newspaper and Gannetts Corporate executive staff. He also held a variety of community leadership positions which earned recognition to Who's Who Outstanding Young Men of America and Most Outstanding Businessman in Countywide Award. Served as President of Everett Jr. Chamber of Commerce, President Everett Mall Assoc., Chairman Downtown Everett Assoc., Bob currently serves on the board of a national franchise company and as a corporate consultant which requires spending a week each month in Florida. Bob is married to Stephanie and has two step children, Mimi attends Elger Bay Elementary and Hannah attends Stanwood High School. Bob was appointed to the board in February 2008 and will serve through June 2011.
