Dick Hepburn
Dick Hepburn has been married to his beautiful wife, Val, for a delightful and joyous long time. They have two handsome sons, John and Robert, one beautiful daughter-in-law, Jody, and absolutely two beautiful grand toddlers, Issabelle and Jackson. Dick has been active with the Center almost from the time they moved to the Island in 1998. He has taken the lead on several committees for Center fundraisers - Breakfast with Santa and the Bridal Fair are two of them. He is active on the Gala Auction Committee and several other Board Committees. He has been on the board for the Buena Vista Community Club and Friends of Camano Island Parks. He remains active with both groups. Dick is semi-retired from a carrier in the insurance business, which began in 1965. He achieved both the C.L.U. and Ch.F.C. designations from his industry. He still maintains his licenses to do individual and group life, health, disability, and long term care insurance. He maintains contact with his clients to continue to serve their ongoing and changing needs. Before moving to the Island he was very active with his industry teaching insurance basics and serving as the president of the Seattle Chapter of CLU's.
In their spare time Dick and Val like to bike, garden, travel. They are both active with the First Presbyterian Church of Bellevue which they attend. It also gives them a good excuse to have some weekly time with the grand toddlers.
