Monday, September 20, Seattle Central Library Tour & Story Time for Adults The Central Library sports a contemporary look and feel that is innovative in both form and function. You will tour this architectural marvel and then you will sit back, relax, and escape from the everyday as they bring you gripping short stories expertly read, and well calculated to keep you in suspense! Shop the gift shop and grab a snack on site before heading back to the Center. $10 Members/$18 Non-Members
Friday, September 24, Autumn Leaf Festival-Leavenworth The Autumn Leaf Festival is Leavenworth’s longest running festival. The Autumn Leaf Festival Association started this event in 1964 with the adoption of the Bavarian Theme and continues it today as one of Leavenworth’s major festivals. Transportation only. $22 Members/$28 Non-Members.
Wednesday, October 13, Seattle Art Museum & Pike Place Market   "Picasso: Masterpieces from the Musée National Picasso, Paris," an exhibit of more than 150 works of art, from paintings and sculptures to prints, drawings and photographs. Self led tour with time to visit Pike Place Market. Price includes ticket to the museum. $28 Members/$36 Non-Members. 
Wednesday, October 20 ,Senior Day at Goodwill followed by lunch at the nostalgic Johnny Rockets and then a visit at St. Vincent dePaul Thrift Store before heading back. Leaving at 8:00 a.m. $13 Members/$21 Non-Members.

Wednesday, November 17, Molbaks Poinsettia Festival This annual event features tens of thousands of poinsettias with over 52 varieties represented. There will be festive wreaths, sparkling ornaments and noble trees. Have a cup of coffee in the Garden Café and visit the gift shop.   Cost includes transportation only. $12 Members/$20 Non-Members
Monday, November 29, Holiday Shopping Blitz  We are heading to Walmart, Target, Applebee's & Fred Meyer.  So, grab your sale ads and let’s go shopping. Get those gifts wrapped early. Heading to the Mount Vernon Wal-Mart at 8:00 a.m. Lunch on your own at Applebee’s. $9 Members/$18 Non-Members

Thursday, January 6, The Flying Heritage Collection, Road House Grill & Museum of Flight  Departing 8:45 a.m. Two Museums in one day. The planes within the Flying Heritage Collection were created at a time when aeronautical discovery had evolved to aviation mastery. Finely crafted by distinguished design bureaus with leading technologies of the 1930s and 1940s, the main emphasis of the collection includes combat aircraft from World War II. You will then lunch on your own at the Roadhouse Grill before heading over to the Restoration Center which is home to about three dozen aircraft in various stages of repair. $20 Members/$28 Non-Members

 

 

 

 CSSA Trip Policy 

DAY TRIPS:  You may make a reservation by phone, mail, or by coming in to the Camano Senior and Community Center.  We accept cash, check, VISA and MasterCard.  UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED your reservation must be paid 14 DAYS prior to departure date. Reservations made less than two weeks prior to the trip must be paid in full at the time of the reservation.

 

TICKETED EVENTS: UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED, trips requiring the Center to purchase a ticket as part of the trip package will be paid in full BEFORE TICKETS ARE ORDERED.

 

IF THE TRIP IS ARRANGED BY THE CENTER a full refund will be issued only IF A REPLACEMENT IS FOUND. PASSENGER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR FINDING A REPLACEMENT. The Center does not guarantee a replacement will be found.  Replacements may be made from the Center's waiting list, if there is one.

CANCELLATION BY THE CENTER: A full refund will be issued.

 

TIPPING: On motor coach trips a tip will be collected for the driver. You are responsible for tipping at restaurants when eating on your own. On extended trips other tips will be specified by trip.

 

TRIP INSURANCE IS STRONGLY ADVISED ESPECIALLY FOR 3 DAY OR LONGER TRIPS. IN ORDER TO COVER PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS IT MUST BE PURCHASED WITHIN 14 DAYS OF MAKING THE DEPOSIT CANCELLATION BY PASSENGER: If the trip is through an outside tour group their cancellation policies will apply. Policies vary from agency to agency so check with the center for clarification. It is strongly recommended that when booking extended trips, in most cases, you should secure trip insurance for your own peace of mind.

 

DEPOSITS/FINAL PAYMENTS ON EXTENDED TRIPS: Extended trips will have the payment schedule listed at the end of the tour description, if we are using a tour company their policies will apply to deposit, final payments and refunds, etc. Generally there is a deposit due at time of registration and a deadline for payment in full. Refunds are generally based on a decreasing percentage of the cost of the trip based on how far ahead of departure date the trip is canceled. We accept VISA and MasterCard.
